Building a party that survives late-game Emberfall Oath
Emberfall Oath lets you experiment, but late-game encounters punish sloppy party balance. My first run collapsed because I stacked damage and had no one to control the board. Learn from that: one solid controller who can slow or reposition enemies changes fights entirely.
Positioning is the quiet skill this game demands. Keep your fragile casters out of reach and bait the big enemy moves onto your tankier characters. Reading the telegraphs is worth more than any stat boost.
On dialogue, take the choices seriously. I lost access to a companion quest by being flippant early on, and I only noticed hours later. Talk to everyone, twice if you can. The story hides some of its best beats behind small kindnesses.
